The Royal Oak Ultra Thin Tourbillon made its debut in 2012, combining the iconic Royal Oak design with a manual winding movement and a tourbillon escapement. It's the first Royal Oak model without any extra features to feature this highly coveted mechanism - previous versions, such as the limited edition from 1997 and the Tradition d'Excellence and Chrono Tourbillon models from 1999 and later, all had additional functions.
