The Breitling Emergency watch is made for pilots and aircrews. It has a built-in micro-transmitter that sends out a signal on the 121.5 MHz aircraft emergency frequency. This is helpful in case of a crash or emergency landing, as rescuers can use the signal to find the watch wearer. The transmitter is activated by unscrewing a cap and pulling out the antenna, and it will broadcast for 48 hours. In ideal conditions, the signal can reach up to 160 kilometers (100 miles) if the search aircraft is flying at 6,000 meters (about 20,000 feet). Ref. E7632110/O500.
