Portugieser Automatic 5007 Stainless Steel Silver Gold Numerals
Reference IW5007-07 (aka: IW500707)
Debuting at SIHH 2015, the 5007 is IWC's latest take on the Portugieser (formerly Portuguese) Automatic. With a new movement featuring two barrels for a whopping 168-hour power reserve and an updated Pellaton winding mechanism, this watch has some serious endurance. The design tweaks are subtle but definitely catch the eye, especially the curved glass and ergonomically-optimized lugs. Fun fact: these lugs are reminiscent of the first Portugieser with a 7-day movement, the IWC Portuguese 2000 from 2000. The limited edition IW5007-07 rocks a sleek Stainless Steel case and a cool light grey dial, with only 55 pieces made for the Ginza
