The Royal Oak Extra-Thin Tourbillon made its debut in 2012, combining the iconic Royal Oak look with a hand-wound tourbillon movement. It's the first of its kind to have this prestigious escapement without any other complications. Previous versions, like the 1997 limited edition, 1999 Tradition d'Excellence, and later Chrono Tourbillon and Concept watches, all had extra features. In 2016, a limited edition of 20 watches was released in partnership with AP authorized dealer Bucherer. This special edition has a stainless steel case and a pink gold bezel, with a matching bracelet.
