In 2004, IWC launched the Pilot's Watch Chronograph Spitfire, a more luxurious version of their beloved pilot's chronograph. While the dial and movement remain the same, the dial now boasts applied numerals and various textures, with alpha/sword style hands. The 3706 Spitfire comes in black or silver dials, with language options for the date disc and a choice of leather strap or stainless steel bracelet. The early models use caliber 7922, while later ones use the 79320. The silver dial version is available in different variations, with a silver dial, alligator strap, and language options, or a stainless steel bracelet.
