In 2004, IWC introduced the Pilot's Watch Chronograph Spitfire, a luxurious version of their classic pilot's chronograph. While the dial and movement stay the same, the dial is more intricate with applied numerals and different textures. The hands have also been updated to the alpha/sword style. The Spitfire comes in either a black or silver dial, with options for the date disc language and a leather strap or stainless steel bracelet. Early models use the caliber 7922, while later ones use the 79320. The silver dial version has multiple variations, each with a different language for the date disc and either an alligator strap or stainless steel bracelet.
