In 2004, IWC released the Pilot's Watch Chronograph Spitfire, a more upscale version of their classic pilot's chronograph. The dial and movement are the same, but the dial is now more intricate with applied numerals and textured details. The hands have also been updated to an alpha/sword style. This Spitfire model comes in either a black or silver dial, with options for date disc language and a leather strap or stainless steel bracelet. Early versions have the caliber 7922 movement, while newer models use the 79320. The black dial version has five options with different language date discs and alligator straps, or a stainless steel bracelet.
