The IWC Pilot's Watch Doppelchronograph ref. 3713, produced between 1996 and 2005, was the second pilot's watch by IWC to feature a split-second chronograph. It came in stainless steel, yellow gold, or platinum with a variety of dial options and day-discs in different languages. The steel version could be worn with a strap or bracelet, while the platinum version had only five pieces on a bracelet. In 2003, the 3713 was only available with Spitfire-style dials. One of these models, the IW3713-43, boasts a stainless steel case and a Silver 'Spitfire' dial.
