The IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph Spitfire was first released in 2004 as a more luxurious version of the iconic pilot's chronograph from IWC. While the dial and movement remain the same, there are some notable upgrades. The dial now boasts applied numerals and various textures, with alpha/sword style hands. The Spitfire comes in two color options - black or silver - with a choice of language for the date display and either a leather strap or stainless steel bracelet. Early models use caliber 7922, while later versions feature the 79320. The black dial also comes in five different versions, each with a unique language for the date display and either an alligator strap or stainless steel bracelet.
