The IWC Pilot's Watch Doppelchronograph ref. 3713 was produced from around 1996 to 2005. It was the second in a line of IWC's pilot's watches to have a split-second chronograph. You could choose from stainless steel, yellow gold, or platinum and different dial options. The stainless steel version could be worn on a strap or bracelet, while the platinum version had only five pieces made on a bracelet. Starting in 2003, the 3713 only came with Spitfire-style dials. The reference IW3713-31 has a stainless steel case and a black 'Spitfire' dial.
