In 1999, IWC introduced the Mark XV, taking the place of the Mark XII. Its case was slightly larger at 38mm and housed an ETA-based movement (either 37524 or 30110, depending on the year). The watch came in black or white dial options, as well as a 'Spitfire' version in black or silver. For the IW3253-07 model, the dial is black. The black buffalo strap has reference numbers A05510, A05512 (XS), or A05511 (XL), while the original bracelet is identified by A05514.
