The exceptional aventurine dial stands out for its rarity in watchmaking, given its fragility and complex production process. Zenith uses aventurine solely for this unique piece within their collection. The time is shown through central hands for hours and minutes, with a small seconds display located at 9 o'clock. This chronograph features a 1/10th-of-a-second tracking mechanism, highlighted by a central hand that makes a complete turn every 10 seconds, alongside a 60-second counter at 3 o'clock and a 60-minute counter at 6 o'clock. Users will also appreciate the full calendar, which includes day, date, and month indicators, along with a moon phase feature. At its heart lies the El Primero calibre, renowned for its precision, operating at a frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour (5 Hz), and providing an approximate power reserve of 60 hours, consisting of 366 individual components that embody the distinctive high-frequency structure of the El Primero series.
