The TUDOR Black Bay 54 M79000B-0001 was launched in 2026, adding a blue-dial variant to the Black Bay 54 collection that initially featured an introduction in 2023 followed by the “Lagoon Blue” release in 2025. Preserving the 37 mm case along with the aluminium bezel insert and the Manufacture Calibre MT5400, this model showcases a vibrant blue dial complemented by a stainless steel bracelet.

Measuring 37 mm across, with a thickness of 11.2 mm and a lug-to-lug span of 46 mm, the stainless steel case exhibits a blend of polished and satin surfaces, topped with a screw-down crown embossed with the TUDOR rose. It boasts a water resistance of up to 200 metres. The 60-minute unidirectional bezel, in stainless steel and fitted with a blue aluminium insert, lacks minute graduations. The dial features a domed, satin radial-brushed finish with applied hour markers, iconic Snowflake hands, and a playful lollipop seconds hand. All hands and markers are treated with Grade A Swiss Super-LumiNova for enhanced visibility, and the watch is protected by a domed sapphire crystal.

At the heart of this timepiece is the Manufacture Calibre MT5400, a self-winding movement capable of hours, minutes, and central seconds functionality along with a stop-seconds feature. Certified by COSC, it incorporates a non-magnetic silicon balance spring and offers a power reserve of about 70 hours. The movement measures 30.3 mm in diameter and has a thickness of 5 mm, operating at a frequency of 28,800 beats per hour. Completing the design is a three-link stainless steel bracelet that combines polished and satin finishes, secured with a TUDOR "T-fit" clasp that allows for quick, tool-free adjustments across five positions, within an 8 mm range, and features ceramic ball bearings within its closure mechanism.
