In 1912, Vacheron Constantin wanted to break away from the traditional round pocket watch and embrace a more modern and daring style. They were one of the first to introduce barrel-shaped cases, now known as 'tonneau' cases. This unique shape quickly became iconic and was loved by both men and women. The Malte collection, with its prestigious horological complications, is a perfect example of this. In 2012, they added a pink gold model with the caliber 4400 AS, and in 2014, a white gold model was also introduced.
