In 2004, IWC introduced the elegant Portugieser 5001 watch. It boasts a 42.3mm case and an automatic movement with a power reserve indicator at 3 o'clock, date window at 6 o'clock, and small seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock. The original versions used caliber 50010 (around 2004-2005), while newer models switched to either the 51010 (2005-2007) or 51011 (2007 onwards). The IW5001-13 model features a Red Gold case and Silver dial, taking over from the previous rose gold 5001-01 version.
