The IWC Portugieser 5001 made its debut in 2004. It boasts a 42.3mm case housing a self-winding movement with a power reserve indicator at 3:00, a date display at 6:00, and a small seconds subdial at 9:00. Initially, it was equipped with the 50010 caliber (around 2004-2005), but newer versions utilize either the 51010 (2005-2007) or 51011 (2007 onward). The reference IW5001-04 has a luxurious Platinum case and a stylish Silver dial.
