The IWC Pilot's Watch Doppelchronograph ref. 3713 was in production from around 1996 to 2005. It's the second of IWC's pilot's watches to have a split-second chronograph, and it came in stainless steel, yellow gold, or platinum. The dials had different designs and languages for the day-discs. You could get the stainless steel version with either a strap or bracelet, and there were only five platinum versions made with a bracelet. After 2003, the 3713 was only available with the cool Spitfire-style dials. The reference IW3713-49 has a stainless steel case and a sleek silver 'Spitfire' dial.
