The IWC Pilot's Watch Doppelchronograph ref. 3713, produced between 1996 and 2005, was the second of IWC's pilot's watches to feature a split-second chronograph. It came in stainless steel, yellow gold, or platinum, with a variety of dial options and day-discs in different languages. The stainless steel version could be worn with a strap or bracelet, while only five platinum versions were made with a bracelet. Starting in 2003, the 3713 was only available with Spitfire-style dials. The reference IW3713-47 has a stainless steel case and a silver 'Spitfire' dial.
