In 2004, IWC introduced the Pilot's Watch Chronograph Spitfire, a more luxurious version of their iconic pilot's chronograph. While the dial and movement remain the same, the dial has been enhanced with applied numerals and textures, and the hands now feature an alpha/sword design. Available with either a black or silver dial, the Spitfire comes with a choice of language for the date display and can be paired with a leather strap or stainless steel bracelet. The earlier versions house the caliber 7922, while the later ones use the 79320. The silver dial also has multiple variations, with different language discs and strap options.
