Pilot's Watch Chronograph Ceramic German Bracelet
Reference IW3705-05 (aka: IW370505)
In 1986, IWC made waves by introducing their first ceramic-cased wristwatch - the Da Vinci Ceramic ref. 3755. Eight years later, they followed up with their first Pilot's Chronograph in the same material, the ref. 3705. While the Da Vinci Ceramic may not have gained much love (yet), the Pilot's Chronograph has become a cult favorite. The 39mm zirconium oxide case is accented by stainless steel pushers and crown, a detail seen in later versions as well. At the time, it cost 50% more than its steel counterpart. Different language date discs and stainless steel bracelets are available for each reference.
