In 2004, IWC released the Pilot's Watch Chronograph Spitfire, a deluxe version of their classic pilot's chronograph. While the movement and dial remain the same, the dial now boasts a more intricate design with raised numbers and different textures. The hands have also been updated to the alpha/sword style. The Spitfire comes in either black or silver dial options, with a choice of language for the date display and a leather or stainless steel strap. The early models feature the caliber 7922, while later versions use the 79320. The silver dial is available in various options, including different language discs and strap options.
